George Bogdanov is the President of ChildPact and the Executive Director of the National Network for Children – a network of more than 140 leading Bulgarian NGOs, working with children and families. He has a PhD on Sociology, Anthropology and art science in Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski. George has a significant background in working with civil groups, NGOs, the Roma community in Bulgaria as well as with isolated communities by means of the approach for development of the communities. He has worked as a consultant for Charity Know How – Great Britain and evaluation consultant for UNICEF and the World Bank. He was a socio-economic expert in the field of anti-discrimination 2009-2013 and since 2005 he is national coordinator and social inclusion consultant for Bulgaria on Social Policy assisting the EC’s DG Employment Social Affairs and Equal Opportunities. George was part of management board of Eurochild from 2010 till 2017. He is the author and co-author of a number of reports and researches in the sphere of child welfare, civic organizations, decentralization, poverty and social inclusion, health, social services and antidiscrimination.
Donjeta is a lawyer and she has a virtuous background in child protection at the national level, in Kosovo. She has worked with civil society organizations on child protection since 2006. She has worked as advocacy specialist for various international non-governmental organizations and entities like Swiss Foundation Terre des Hommes, Hope and Homes for Children and others. She worked as expert for the WYG International Ltd in the process of drafting of the minimum standards on child protection, for the first time in Kosovo, in 2010. Combining her profession and passion to protect children, she has started to work with KOMF since its foundation towards the noble mission of protection of vulnerable children.
Saša’s involvement in the child protection field started in 1999 at the Italian Consortium of Solidarity on support programs for refugee children in collective centers in Serbia. He went on to work at the Association for Development of Children and Youth in the field of child rights, especially on the issues of social inclusion and education. Sasa led the development of an NGO cluster meant to improve the cooperation with the Serbian state institutions. This NGO Cluster grew into the MODS in 2010. In November 2014 he was elected director of the Network of Organizations for Children in Serbia – MODS. He is the father of a ten year old boy Nikola.
Arshak Gasparyan is the President of the Armenian Child Protection Network in Armenia. Arshak is a Psychologist with 11 years of experience in the fields of child protection and juvenile justice and 15 year experience in criminal justice systems. He currently acts as International consultant in criminal justice field (rehabilitation programs, re-offending issues, prison and probation reforms). He is the President of Social Justice NGO, member of the Armenian Child Protection Network. He serves as member of the National Committee for Social Inter-agency Co-operation (child protection subcommittee) and also member of the National Juvenile Justice Board in Armenia. Arshak is affiliated to the Confederation of European Probation (CEP) and International Corrections and Prisons Association (ICPA).
Zini Kore has been working for the civil society sector in Albania since 1999. Zini is the Country Representative of ARSIS – Social Organization for the Support of the Youth since 2010 and member of BKTF Coalition in Albania. He is representing BKTF/ARSIS as a member of the National Committee for Social Services Reform, Administrative Council of State Social Services and also he is a member of the National referral mechanism for anti trafficking. During 2010-2013 Zini held the presidency of the Albanian coalition of civil society organizations United for Child Care and Protection (BKTF). During 2012-2013 Zini was the Vice President and President of ChildPact. As a senior specialist on child protection issues Zini has co-authored the National Study on Children in Street Situation in Albania, the Procedural guidance on children in street situation; simultaneously is international expert on issues related to child trafficking, exploitation and abuse.
