Cristina is an international consultant and trainer, specialized in strategic planning, organizational development, project management, monitoring and evaluation, volunteering infrastructure, networks governance and management. Cristina has over 15 years of experience in the nonprofit sector, having worked for the National Resource Center for Volunteerism (Pro Vobis) in Romania for over a decade and having served on the governance bodies of several national and European networks, including the Romanian Platform of NGOs Active in Development (FOND) and the European Volunteer Center (CEV). She has a strong background in social sciences research and excellent public speaking and facilitation skills. She is the mother of David (4 years old), passionate about flowers and gardening, and believes that we get from life as much as we invest in it.
Roxana has joined ChildPact in 2011 as a volunteer, after which she became part of the founding team that established the first grounds of the regional coalition at an informal level in 2012. Roxana holds an MA in Theater Studies and started her career as a cultural manager and film producer back in Romania of the late 90’s. In recent years, she has been increasingly focusing on children rights and civil society coalitions development in South-East Europe and the Caucasus. Roxana developed the creative identity and IT supported platforms for coalitions and has been in charge of internal and external communications. She created animation spots, video documentaries and professional photography for external public engagement actions and advocacy campaigns. She is an international trainer for Social Media and advocacy communications and has successfully crated ICT and e-learning products for capacity building on advocacy. Currently, Roxana’s role is to develop advocacy strategies based on the Child Protection Index, draft official statements and assist in drafting policy briefs, news and other advocacy documents. Roxana manages media relationships (including press releases, press kits, op-eds, newsletters, online media outlets) and ensures information flow on policy developments and opportunities in the areas of children’s rights, child protection and investment in children.
Elena is a visual communication specialist with an MA in imagology – History of Images in Literature. She is involved in a spellbinding love-and-hate relationship with pixels, being trapped in a livelong learning process about UX, layouts, brand identity, print collateral, multi-format translation and data visualisation. Having recently embarked in our mission to protect vulnerable children in the region, Elena hopes to find simpler ways to do better things.
