ChildPact’s new president

We welcome Mira Antonyan from Armenia as the new President of ChildPact. Mira’s fields of expertise include child rights, child protection and welfare (protection, alternative and substitute care, institutional transformation), policy development (child and social protection, education and vocational training) and social research.

We wish Mira good luck on her new mandate to pursue ChildPact’s objectives:

  • Monitor and influence child-related policies at regional and European levels by documenting child protection concerns and advocating for better policies to protect vulnerable children.
  • Strengthen the capacity of its members by actively supporting their expertise development, visibility and credibility at regional and European levels.
  • Advocate for regional cooperation at inter-governmental and civil society level, in order to identify best practices and solutions to common threats to children’s well-being.
  • Raise public awareness of child rights and protection issues at national, regional and European contexts.
